Indio Brasileiro Guerra Neto, General Partner
Indio Brasileiro was most recently the Vice President of Business-to-Business for StarMedia Network in New York. Prior to this, Indio launched and managed StarMedia in Brazil. Indio has a 15 years experience in the areas of marketing, product development, advertising sales and management. Indio worked at Grupo Folha for 8 years in the advertising department and as the Sales Director of Universo Online (UOL). Currently, he is also the Director of Market Relations with the Interactive Media Association (A.M.I) and is member of the board of several Brazilian companies in the Media and Technology sectors.

Ben Hormel Harris, General Partner, Corporate Development Officer
Ben has over seven years of international experience ranging from management and business consulting in Moscow, Russia to legal and tax work with KPMG International in Santiago de Chile. Ben graduated from Washington University in 1991 and as an Attorney, a member of the Bar and a graduate of the University of Nebraska, College of Law, he adds value to transactions by fusing his technical knowledge with his legal background.

Cedric Naintré, General Partner, Business Development Officer
Cedric has been living in Latin America since 1991, continuously working in the Telecommunications and Internet field. Afetr his work at Alcatel, he co-founded and served as General Manager of Netline Chile, the third largest ISP in the Chilean market sold to PSINet in 1999. Cedric also co-founded NAP Chile, the Chilean National Internet Backbone and served as general manager of StarMedia Chile, launching the portal's activities in the country. Cedric graduated in Business Administration from Inseec Bordeaux, France, and received marketing degrees from the San Jose State University, California.

Patrick Eve, General Partner, Chief Operating Officer
Patrick has been involved in Latin America since 1991. He worked at The Economist Conferences, The South Pacific Mail and most recently he worked for four years at the international mining group Anglo American PLC both in Chile and in Colombia. At AAC plc Patrick managed all cash flow procedures and set up systems for financial planning, accounting and treasury. He also modeled software solutions for treasury and commodity marketing operations as well as integrating two MIMS implementation teams. Patrick holds a Master's degree from The University of Edinburgh and holds qualifications in administrative accounting and financial administration.

Marcos Vescovi, Technology Advisor
Marcos has been a researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction for over 10 years. He was founder and chief technologist of Paul Allen's Zowie Intertainment, which was recently acquired by the LEGO company. He was member of the research staff at Interval Research where he co-invented the Zowie smart toy concept. He has also conducted research at Apple's Advanced Technology Group and at Stanford's Knowledge Systems Laboratory. In his career, he has contributed to more than 35 international publications and has been cited in over 150 other publications. Marcos has 8 patents issued or pending (2 are Internet related). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Savoie, France and a Post-doc from Stanford University

Frederick Goff, Investment Advisor
Goff was Managing Director responsible for trading and derivatives in the Emerging Markets Sales, Trading and Research (EMSTR) group at BankBoston Robertson Stephens. Fred was a founding member of the Emerging Markets group in 1995 and helped lead it to a top ten global ranking in the industry by 1997. Prior to joining BankBoston, Fred was a Vice President of Emerging Market Trading at Chemical Bank working at various times in both New York and London. Fred currently is on sabbatical from the markets completing his Master of Science in MIT's Management of Technology program. Fred also is Vice President of the Board of Directors for the non-profit group, Partners for Youth with Disabilities. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management as well as Economics from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989 and his Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the Heinz school at Carnegie Mellon in 1990.

Francisco Ravecca, Investment Advisor
Francisco holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Uruguay (1994) and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School (1997). Between 1992 and 1995 he worked for the Law Firm Díaz Estapé and for Banco Surinvest in Montevideo, Uruguay. During 1996 Mr. Ravecca worked for Advent International Corporation at their headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, performing due-diligence and deal sourcing for Private Equity deals both in the U.S. and Latin America. Between 1997 and 1999 he worked for BankBoston Argentina as an Assistant Manager in the Specialized Industries Division. Upon returning to Uruguay in March 1999, Mr. Ravecca founded Ravecca, Solari & Associates. Francis Lackington, Legal Advisor
Francis is a Chilean lawyer with substantial experience in corporate law and specifically in the field of mergers and acquisitions. He worked as a law clerk with Edmundo Eluchans y Cia. from 1993 to 1997. From 1997 to 2000, he served as an associate at Carey y Cia., Chile's largest law firm, where he successfully represented several multinationals in a number of prominent acquisition deals in Chile. He has also been a part-time Assistant Professor of Civil Law at Universidad Finis Terrae in Santiago since 1996. Francis earned his LL.B. degree magna cum laude (Licenciado en Derecho con Dos Votos de Distincion) from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in 1996, and is currently an LL.M. candidate at Cornell Law School.

Prior to eFiltro, he was the Director of Business Development for IBM in Latin America and South Florida and the Senior Location Executive for IBM in Fort Lauderdale. During his IBM career, he was the Chief Financial Officer for IBM Brazil, Director of Finance for Personal Computers Latin America in Florida, Manager of Global Planning for Personal Systems in New York, and Manager of PC Product Analysis and Pricing for Europe in Paris. Mick received a Business Administration Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and a Masters in Business Administration with a full scholarship from the University of Chicago. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

Matt McNair, General Counsel
Matt is currently attorney at law with Cline, Williams, Wright, Johnson and Oldfather llp, specialized in securities law. Matt spent nearly five years in San Diego, California as a Lieutenant in the Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps, and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California. As a trial attorney in the Navy JAG Corps, Matt specialized in criminal law, while at the U.S. Attorney's Office, he focused on litigation of employment law and the Federal Tort Claims Act. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Kansas in 1991 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska in 1995.
